Floating Fountains

Arbrux Limited's Floating Fountains are ideal for any body of water. Whether it is a small pond or a large lake, a body of water can have a beautiful water feature exceptionally easily. Each fountain has a multitude of spray patterns to choose from. Our Floating Fountains range from ½ to 5hp and include both aerating and display models. These fountains are not only for aesthetics but will assist in beautifying the water naturally by aerating and cooling.

Floating Aerators

Aerators are the perfect addition to any body of water to aid in clarification. Models are available from ½ to 3hp. Aeration is very important to a pond. It reduces algae, minimizes insects, eliminates many odour problems and can provide a healthy home for aquaculture by preventing stratification where sediments are a problem. The Mirage aerator can be used in the wintertime as a deicer for water fowl, fish or to prevent damage to structures in the water. Commercial units work well to suspend solids in wastewater applications or to keep water clear of stagnation in retention ponds.

De-Icers

Arbrux Limited is the leading manufacturer of De-Icers in Canada. Distributing worldwide, the Arbrux De-Icer is known for its reliability and efficiency. The Arbrux De-Icer brings the warmer, deeper water from the bottom of a body of water to the surface to create open water by utilizing a propeller to move the water. The Arbrux De-Icer is equipped with a drive structure to ensure the propeller is protected from any foreign debris.

De-Icers can be used in both shallow and deep applications. The De-Icer should be positioned to move the warmer water from the deeper parts to the shallow area when water depth is minimal. When de-icing deeper areas, the De-Icer should be placed at least 6” to 12” from the bottom of the body of water. It should be at least 1’ below the surface to a maximum of 5’ beneath. A ½ HP De-Icer will generally keep a 40’ diameter circle open when the unit is placed 5’ below the surface of the water.

While moving 500 gallons of water per minute, the De-Icer is self insurance that your dock, boathouse, structure and areas will be unaffected by ice damage. Larger De-Icers are available for commercial/industrial areas and can help with the survival of fish and water fowl during the winter months.

Positioning of the De-icer depends on the area/structure being protected. A De-Icer installed in a sling mount formation is ideal for boats and boat houses. When slung between two mooring points, the De-Icer has less potential to oscillate. For areas with one mounting point, the De-Icer should be hung by a single chain. By using a chain it will help stop the unit from oscillating. It is not recommended to hang the unit with a single rope. A float mount is also available for De-Icers that are being used in areas without a mounting point available.

ADDITIONAL ARBRUX DE-ICER FEATURES

• The Arbrux Limited De-Icer uses a custom designed Propeller to ensure its Stability and reliability.
• To help create a barrier between the propeller and foreign debris, the De-Icer is equipped with a drive structure that will help eliminate prop failure caused by debris coming entangled in the unit.
• Arbrux Limited’s De-Icers come standard with 1/2hp, 120V Stainless Steel Submersible Motors and either 7.5m (25’) or 15m (50’) power cables. Other voltages and Hp are available.

• Easy installation!
For Installation after freeze up, the Arbrux De-Icer can be installed through a hole that has been augured in the ice. This is convenient for mid winter installations.
All De-Icers with 45m/147.6' and longer cable sets come complete with a Quick Disconnect power cable set.

Submersible Mixers

Submersible mixers are an efficient way to keep solids in suspension in process tanks and lagoons or to mix water in stagnant areas. The submersible mixers high speed motor driven propellor moves large volumes of water and can be angled to improve circulation and prevent sediment build up in tanks.

We are pleased to inform you that our Destiny Line Submersible Mixers are fully ETL approved. They meet UL and CSA standards for safety.
