In 2004 Peter and Lorie Barbe purchased Arbrux Limited.  At the time of purchase the company had water products and power products.  Peter purchased the business for the water products because he knew that was the future of Arbrux.  After a few years Peter decided to design and manufacture a line of floating lake fountains, floating pond aerators, dock de-icers along with an industrial line. He wanted Arbrux to have high quality products that meet the demands of industry but are also easy to install and maintain in a residential application.

The creation and design phase began in 2008.  Peter’s mechanical, electrical and manufacturing background was a real asset during this stage.  His concept was to develop an energy efficient, long lasting, reliable and easy to install line of dynamic water features.  Peter wanted to ensure that the customer was always at the forefront of the product lines.  Peter put all of the models through rigorous performance and safety testing to ensure that all of the products lived up to the quality and specifications.   Once everything was complete Peter chose to have each product approved as complete units to UL and CSA standards of safety.  Many competitors claim to have these extensive approvals but they only have some of their components listed to UL and CSA standard of safety.  To date we have the lowest warranty claims in the industry.  “We’re continuously looking for opportunities to stay at the forefront of design and be able to provide our customers with an outstanding product,” said Peter Barbe, President, Arbrux Manufacturing.
